The fine print
Written plainly, so you know what you're agreeing to when you book Casa de Mango. Read alongside our Policies and Privacy Policy.
These terms are the agreement between you (the guest making the booking) and the owners of Casa de Mango, a private villa in Litibú, Riviera Nayarit, Mexico. By requesting or confirming a booking, you're agreeing to them on behalf of everyone in your party.
The lead guest must be at least 25 years old, present during the stay, and responsible for the group's conduct and any damages.
A short-term stay in a private residence — not a hotel. There is no 24/7 front desk. We're reachable by phone, WhatsApp and email during reasonable hours, and on-site staff visits for housekeeping and support.
A request becomes a confirmed booking only after we accept your dates in writing and your deposit is received. Rates, availability and add-ons on the site are indicative until we confirm.
Deposit, balance, cancellation and refund terms are set out on our Policies page and form part of these terms. Payments are processed by our payment provider; foreign-exchange or card fees charged by your bank aren't refundable by us.
We may hold a refundable security deposit or a pre-authorization on your card before arrival. It's released after check-out once we've confirmed the villa is in the condition it was left in.
Guest count limits, quiet hours, no unauthorized events, no smoking indoors, pool supervision and the other rules on our Policies page are part of this agreement. Serious or repeated breaches may end the stay early with no refund.
Accidents happen — please tell us as soon as they do. The lead guest is responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing anything damaged, lost or removed during the stay beyond ordinary wear and tear.
The villa is for private residential use by the guests on the booking. Commercial use, filming, photo shoots, weddings and events require our prior written approval.
The villa has a large pool, stairs, terraces, and tropical grounds. Guests use the property, pool, and outdoor areas at their own risk. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, especially around the pool.
Activities we suggest — fishing, whale-watching, diving, beach and town outings — are operated by independent providers. We're happy to introduce you, but we're not responsible for those services or any incident that happens during them.
We strongly recommend travel and medical insurance covering trip cancellation, personal injury, and personal belongings. We don't insure guest property.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your booking or stay is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for events outside our reasonable control (weather, utility outages, road closures, government actions, and similar).
We maintain the villa carefully, but occasional issues with utilities, appliances, internet or the pool can happen. Please let us know right away so we can fix it. These aren't grounds for a refund unless the villa becomes genuinely unusable.
In the rare case something makes the villa unfit to host you (major damage, safety issue, force majeure), we'll try to offer comparable alternative accommodation or a pro-rated refund of unused nights. That's the extent of our obligation in those cases.
How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute we can't sort out amicably will be handled by the competent courts of Nayarit, Mexico.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you confirm your booking is the one that applies to your stay.
